Get ready for the holidays! During the month of December, a series of craft workshops for adults will be led by talented staff members at Bernardsville Public Library. They all start at 11:00 am, they are free, and materials will be provided.
On Tuesday, December 3, it’s “Easy Holiday Treats.” Youth Services Manager Tammy Shaw will demonstrate how to make truffles. Once you know the secret to these easy and elegant treats, you’ll never be without the perfect homemade gift or tasty contribution to any holiday party. Attendees will make and taste several flavors of both sweet and savory truffles.
On Thursday, December 5, the program is all about wrapping! Learn tips to solve common wrapping problems and how to create elegant packages with basic supplies. Library Director Alexandria Arnold will lead this program.
On Thursday, December 12, Readers’ Services Assistant Laura Shabazz will guide attendees in making the cutest holiday decoration ever: a do-it-yourself, upcycled tube sock snowman. Samples are now on display at the library’s Circulation Desk.
Finally, on Wednesday, December 18, Readers’ Services Manager Laura Cole will lead “Tag It!,” a gift tag workshop. Elegant gift tags for elegant packages. Put new skills to work right away during this holiday season.
Come to one! Come to all four! Each workshop begins at 11:00 am in the library’s Community Room. There is no charge to attend. Because space is limited, advance registration is required at www.bernardsvillelibrary.org, or call the library at 908-766-0118 to sign up.
